‘Making a mark’

We received this sweet email from Dylan’s mom last week. (Read it! It’s long but worth it.)

From: <mom>
Subject: Fwd: Thanks for becoming a backer of Tomorrow Magazine by Tomorrow Magazine.
Date: July 15, 2012 9:32:03 AM PDT

Dylan -
I kept waiting for an opportunity to make a mark as a Tomorrow backer.  I was trying to be the 1500th backer and I watched it for a couple of hours one day when the count was 1497.  It stayed at 1497 for a while and then went up to 1498.  By the time I got a chance to check back in, the count was up to 1502.
So, I just became the 50th $100 backer.  I want my tote bag.  You know, I am called the bag lady at the office after all and I could use a new one, soon.
I will probably try to call you later, but I just wanted to shoot off this message.
Love and miss you -
Mom

While the ship has sailed on being the 50th backer at the $100 level, you still have time to “make a mark.”

For example, you could:

  • Donate $501 (or $1 million, for that matter) and become Tomorrow’s most generous backer.

  • Donate the 45,000th dollar and triple our Kickstarter goal.

  • Become the 40th backer at the $5 level.

  • Or donate at 11:59 AM EST on Wednesday morning and become the final backer.

The clock is ticking. The Kickstarter will be funded in less than 12 hours. Really, any way you give makes a mark, in our opinion. What are you waiting for?

I was planning on waiting to be the $5 that sent them over $100,000, but I guess I’ll have to settle for the 1,745th...
